Renee Beeker

Renee Beeker, is the Creator and Director of the National Family Court Watch Project. An advocate for reform of the judicial system since 1996, Renee is a respected contributing member to many grassroots and professional organizations. She works with grassroots leaders nationally, and has been an invited speaker at numerous conferences around the United States. Renee’s article, “The Illusion of Protection Uncovered: review of the Special Journal Issue on Child Custody and Domestic Violence”, was recently published in the February/March 2006 issue of the Domestic Violence Report.
Renee has designed a comprehensive Court Watch observational Tool that has been used in a pilot National Family Court Watch Project.

Renee is the Chair of the National NOW Family Law Advisory Ad Hoc Committee. She was recently re-elected as President of Michigan NOW and the Michigan National Organization for Women Foundation. She is also Chair of the Michigan NOW Child Custody Family Law Task Force. Renee is active in several other national organizations and serves on various committees. Renee holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Communications from Eastern Michigan University.
