Toni Van Pelt is the director and lobbyist of the Center for Inquiry-Office of Public Policy centered in Washington DC . Prior to her reassignment to Washington, Toni was the first executive director for the Center for Inquiry-Florida, a branch of the Center for Inquiry -Transnational.
With the development of the CFI Explorers Travel Club, she has successfully married her past career in travel and business with her commitment to skepticism and secular humanism. Toni is based in Seminole, Florida.

She is a businesswoman with 30 years of experience in owning and running a private company. With the development of the CFI Travel Club she has successfully married her past career in travel with her commitment to skepticism and secular humanism. The purpose of the travel program is to further the mission of the Center by creating a space where folks of like mind can meet, mingle and become good friends. She is a former President of the Florida National Organization for Women.
